She is one of the internationally leading female top managers in the automotive industry and has profound experiences in the areas of digital transformation, New Work, purpose-driven leadership & people development, sustainability, and diversity. One of Dr. Fontaine’s passions is to lead towards a better gender balance and inclusive culture in the automotive industry. After completing dual Master Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and International Management she started her career with Mercedes-Benz where she held multiple senior management positions and became the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in charge of Digitalization and IT for Mercedes-Benz USA in 2002. In 2013, Dr. Fontaine joined Porsche North America as Senior Vice President HR, Culture and Innovation. In January 2018, she joined Benley Motors Ltd. as Member of the Board of Management People, Digitalization & IT. Dr. Fontaine completed her Ph.D. at the Goizueta Business School, Emory University, USA in Information Systems and Mergers & Acquisitions. She published on technology acquisitions, knowledge management and organizational learning and served as a Professor of Post-Merger Integration at the China European Business School in Shanghai, China as well as Professor of Digital Enterprise at the Goizueta Business School, Emory University, USA.
