Carmen Finckh spent a decade of her career as management consultant with Roland Berger & Partner and Horváth & Partners. She supported executive leadership teams in the conception and realization of effective strategy execution processes and introduced innovative management methods and tools. She also worked as head of business management with a medium-sized company in the IT industry for three years, where she helped to reposition the company and gained valuable experience in strategy execution.
Since 2004, Carmen Finckh has been full professor of Management at the ESB Business School of the Reutlingen University where she teaches Strategic Management and Managerial Control primarily in master programs.
As gender diversity officer of the Reutlingen University, she established the material as well as personnel infrastructure for a family friendly and diverse institution for 10 years. In this role, she acquired not only significant funding for the university but were also actively involved in the necessary change process as member of a variety of internal and external committees.
For 15 years, Carmen Finckh enhanced her competence in realizing profound and complex changes in organizations through completing a variety of skill development programs in systemic coaching and management (incl. Business Training, SySt®-Institute Munich; Systemic Organizational Consulting, Simon, Weber and Friends; Theory U, participation in U.lab 2x, Otto Scharmer, MIT Boston).
Carmen Finckh lives with her husband and daughter in Reutlingen. She grew up in the Southern Black Forest where she has gained her entrepreneurial spirit as well as her love for plants and animals. She is dedicated to having a positive impact on nature and people.
