ANDREAS KUHNDOERFER

Former Head of Corporate Strategy, BSH Home Appliances Group & 
Member of Executive and Professional Education Board, Technical University of Munich

Andreas Kuhndoerfer held various senior management positions in strategy, human resources and corporate development in global corporations. Most recently, he has been head of corporate strategy and business development of BSH Group, market leader for household appliances in Western Europe and one of the leading global companies in this sector, with about 60,000 employees and a turnover of 13.9 billion Euros (2020). As a member of the Global Executive Group, he was responsible for global strategy development as well as the implementation of strategic Group programs. Thereby he played a key role in the roll-out of sustainability programs within the corporation. Today he is contributing his international experience with strategic management and transformation to the development of Executive MBA’s at the Executive & Professional Education Board of the TUM School of Management at the Technical University of Munich and to assignments as self-employed executive coach.
Andreas Kuhndoerfer holds a degree in Business Management, has many years of experience as certified coach and is certified Scrum Master. During his career he successfully managed various transformations. He also worked as head of Executive HR and Leadership Development and gained profound experience in engaging employees in the strategy process, which he considers vital for making strategy happen. His credo: it is the people who shape and advance companies and make them successful. Ultimately, it is humans who make the difference and who are the foundation for everything else. Therefore, it is essential not only to develop a promising strategy and plan its effective execution but to convince and inspire the employees to buy-in and stay engaged in sustainable transformation.
Andreas Kuhndoerfer is passionate cook and runner. He lives with his wife, two adult children and his dog in Munich.
